A true Roman fairytale infused with Indian tradition - Melissa and Lorenzo’s wedding was a vibrant celebration of love, culture, and family.
The festivities began with a welcome dinner on one of Rome’s most beautiful terraces at Parco dei Principi, followed by the wedding day at Villa Aurelia, and concluded with a relaxed brunch in a traditional Roman trattoria surrounded by close family.
For the ceremony, Melissa wore a stunning red gown adorned with golden jewelry and intricate Mehndi designs, a symbol of love and prosperity. The décor, designed by Nicole Sparvieri, featured vivid hues of red, lilac, and gold. The focal point was the Mandap - a sacred four-pillared structure representing the couple’s parents and their blessings - beautifully decorated in gold and red florals within the villa’s main garden.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails in the Italian Garden before moving on to an elegant reception and the traditional millefoglie cake cutting. The night ended in true celebration, with music, dancing, and joy lasting well into the early morning - a perfect fusion of Indian tradition and Roman elegance.
